What happened to virtual connections assigning an external online gamer to a port on SNES's emulator. Two players would be able to play multiplayer, so why has this been a dead tuition for co-operative game fans/ programmers?

pretty much the only console game I'm interested in for the rest of the year. too bad there isn't a pc version really, hehe. will probably pick up the ps3 version in a few weeks.

unbelievable ...not only have they stabbed the pc gamers in the back with the whole iw net ....which yes I play only because the game was bought for me as a gift, but also ..... To take our internet charges ...which range from 30 to 80 dollars a month and tack on other charges ....I barely make enough money to survive in this economy, and to enjoy online gaming but to charge for map packs ...as they release them at "THEIR" discretion and to charge a MONTHLY fee ...is ridiculous. I'm sure someone in the E-world will target this fraudulent attempt ...and hopefully you will never see this happen. Its sad that they have to generate new revenue ...on the Most sold game series of the PC ever. I am in awe that someone would have the nerve to say that we are requesting it. I think the only request the the gaming community has made is to make a Cheat proof system which they can't even get right anyways. What a letdown !

You can just purchase all of the Halo 3 maps as downloads. ODST has no exclusives. The games are interchangeable so you will playing against people who have ODST, but they have no advantage or additional content.

So, I can pay for the maps with halo3 and play the same thing the guys with ODST have? Or does ODST have other maps that you can not purchase with Halo3? I want to just buy the map pack rather then having to purchase ODST but, I dont want to purchase it only to find out that I still cant play the ranked slayer games. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

I think they will lose a lot of money if they do double the price, seeing as PSN is free. As a member of the Xbox live community I can say, I probably wouldn't renew my subscription, at least not for a hundred bones.

The Gamertag can be banned if you violate policy (offensive content and not changing it), but not in this case. The post has been changed. Playing a game early has nothing to do with it as long as that copy is legit. resistance 2 was good but not as good as the first one. The weapon feeling was different from rfom.the zooming feature was not good like rfom.i liked the change to the bullseye and bullseye mark 2.the carbine reticle wasnt good,you could barely aim.the environment was nice though.also the fact that you could only hold two weapons at the same time made the player not be able to play the game his own way so ifeel that they need to bring the weapon wheel back in resistance 3.And the game needs anarrator.the weapon feeling i insist it was not the same as resistace fall of man.Also the graphics could have been better,I feel that the game was made in a hurry.Everything else was good about the game.I wish insomniac could read this.

That's what happened to me and the reason the post was made. The Bungie forums showed only a minor reaction unfortunately, so I don't think they got the message.

Ah well, I have ODST now and the problem has resolved itself, but we had some fun in player matches for a while before that.

And here was I just trying to play a few games on halo after a few months off live and find I have to buy maps just to play ranked slayer? Thanks for this post it explained nicely

Any game study linking violent games to aggressiveness has been flawed. If playing a violent games increases the brains activity level, then so would playing high school football. It's an absurd notion to assume games are the cause for any violent behavior.
