I have game u unlock the champs after beating them in battle mode, u can unlock every part aswell but it takes ages and u have 2 max stats to use them.......complete ball-ache

I wish I had read this BEFORE wasting my money but I appreciate it nonetheless. However, its far worse in my opinion than you imply based on the fact you really get NOTHING by buying the game in local multiplayer mode and there is no explanation as to how you can ever unlock the other champs but I assume it involves spending a lot more money.

Dude, the same thing is happening with me ..

After I downloaded and installed the update for Infamous 2, it gets the same error as you've described. We tried other games, FIFA 12, Heavy Rain, and they've all worked.
The funny thing is that this morning we (my gf and I) tried it again, and then it unexpectedly worked: we actually got inside the game, and even started it - but it's my gf who wants to play it, and she was busy at the time. So, what do we do? What everyone does when they're done: we quit it, and back I go to playing FIFA...some hours laters, my gf wants to play Infamous, but we can't play it - again. I've tried deleting some files, redownloading others, and it's still not working. I'll go look for that corrupted file you mentioned, maybe it's one of my themes too..
