  The one thing they got right on this edition of TW was the frustration on your player's face, you actually feel his pain! The new analog swing control works pretty well if you are always making full swings, but is totally frustrating while putting.
  The putting is really what kills this game for me. The slope grid does not help, at all. Plus, there is nothing as fun as hitting the hole dead center and seeing your ball go right over it when it wasn't hit too hard.
  The cool part of the is the RPG element, but it would be cool if it was explained more. That goes for all of the in-game and printed documentation, it sucks.
  Hopefully TW '10 will be better.

  I agree, the putting is terrible in Tiger Woods 09 and the amount of times the ball has went over the hole is unbelievable. Like Greatscott says you can always seem to get a great drive but it all goes downhill from there, they should have just called this Tiger Woods : Driving Range because thats all i do is take a drive and then onto a new hole.

  I cant agree more with the review, I got 09 for xmas and what a piece of crap....I have played 06 and 08 and was looking forward to an improved version, silly me. I could handle the format if the way the actual game play was on par with previous versions, it's not. The ball flight is just like the crappy Wii golf, which is more of a kids game.
  Bad on Sony for pushing this peice of sh** to market.

  Took stupidity and went out and spent good money for this piece of crap because i was tired of replaying 06 & 08, what a mistake. Multiple old features are missing from this game, Tiger must have been on vacation when this one was being approved. They will have to kiss a** for 10 to sell or just forget it. Very dissapointed, not wortht the plastic protecting it, don't waste your money here people.
